My huge problem is that one way or another i want to be rich and free and entrepreneurial and an investor, however I'm not attracted to the outcome of being rich and enjoy freedom like normal people are which is mostly money, i know i want freedom and wealth, however i can't seem to motivate me enough to actually want it so bad that i'll do anything in my power to make it happen. From day to day I just get by, i do a little in my business, i work 40hours a week, and i attend some training from the MLM company I'm in, but i'm not attracted by the money while other people in my MLM company are like moving and moving creating customers daily while i'm not into the money/sales part at all.. I do know money management is important, however i seem to be more happy at my job than as an entrepreneur/investor while there is what i want to end up with, especially since i've been hating my job since day 1 because of the lack of freedom and the salary.. You guys have any tips how i can get motivated / inspired to sell and make money and create my freedom and independent future? more

Resolved Question: If a person is on Soc.Sec.disability and becomes a distributor for a MLM company will his SS be cut?

The person will unlikely make enough to replace both the SS disability and the medicare/medicaid health insurance. He is avoiding becoming a distributor because he is afraid that if he makes $300-400 or more a month, that it will be subtracted from his other benefits or worse yet, he will lose his benefits because the government will think that he is capable of supporting himself. Is this true? If there is a limit to how much you can regularly make and still retain all benefits, this would be good to know. Becoming a distributor would likely bring in some money, but it could be quite hard to consistently bring in enough. The person in question only makes $12,000 a year on disability and is almost depleted of money from an inheritance. He really needs supplemental income. The disability is mental and he has not been able to hold down a job for any length of time for years. more

I was contacted recently to join monavie by someone in Orrin Woodwards business. I have been doing research on the internet and it looks like monavie is not that credible of a company. Everything I read suggests that most of the leaders were paid to bring their groups over from other mlm's. Also, Orrin was terminated from Quixtar and sued them as they did not have any retailable products, yet when I compare the juice from monavie to similar juice in stores it is WAY more expensive and monavie only has one product compared to thousands that amway sells. i have a couple of friends who worked for MLM ( the company name is quickstar) and they are A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G.. these people are just soo lazy to do anything, all they do is brag about their company ( bcause they want to recruit as many people as they can) i dont think the way the do it will convince anyone to join their business. its totally pointless anyways. what they do to get money is to get points ( they'll give u brochures. it has all sorts of things from soap, groceries, vitamins, drinks, cosmetics, etc etc) and the price is not cheap, or even more expensive than general supermarkets ( like safeway, vons, whole foods, ralphs, etc) ive never even heard of the brand of their stuff, at all. what makes them think i would spend my money on something not reliable like that? and they are reallyy pushyyy. ugh.. and one day, this friend of mine called me ( we were close before, not anymore) and asks me to give him 50bucks because he needs it for his points. he ASKS for it, not borrow it or anything. tsk several other friends ( who are in MLM) also called me to attend to this seminar about MLM. and she said that " this is a really good and potential business, and instantly i thought of you! you have great potentials." tsk tsk tsk. they said the exact same thing to everyone. haha.. and one guy who was reallyyy bitchy to my guyfriend, was REALLY nice when he joined MLM. like really2 nice. before, he wouldnt even looked at my friend when he said HI. what they really dont know is that we bought their stuff just because we feel awful. ( we are somewhat forced to buy their stuff because they're my friend) i think the business is ridiculous anyways. you just collect as many points as u can ( and the way to do it is to buy it YOURSELF. yes.. you buy the stuff at the brocuhes for yourself.) or recruit people ( cause when they join there is a fee and you'll get comission from it) and the "prize" if u collect many points is movies tickets, ice cream coupon, etc. and if you are in a meeting with them, you'll be treated with cheap buffet food.
